Caroline’s Experience
I am working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Mental Health Service Provider (LPC/ MHSP (T). I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology from DePauw University, my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee, and my Masters in Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. Over the last twenty-five years, I have engaged people’s journeys as a counselor, palliative care chaplain, spiritual director and episcopal priest. I have a passion for guiding people into deeper wholeness and health. I specialize in working with chronic illness, life transitions, stress management, codependency, anxiety and depression. I see adult individuals for therapy and couples for pre-marital counseling (only).
My Approach & Values
I work alongside individuals to engage their true, authentic self, discover what gets in the way of anchoring in the true self, and then utilize a variety of approaches to assist people in living, working, engaging self and others from this empowered, authentic core. I utilize mindfulness, meditation and breath work with my clients pulling from my certifications as a facilitator of Brené Brown’s work The Daring Way™, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Breath-Body-Mind™.
