Elisa Hernandez, LAMFT
I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from Arizona State University with my undergraduate in Psychology and a Master of Advanced Studies in Marriage and Family Therapy. My training allows me to take a systemic approach to care, seeking not only to understand your lived experience, but also the relationships, patterns, and environments that have shaped your story.
As a relational trauma–trained therapist, I specialize in working with individuals and couples who long to feel more secure and connected in their relationships. I am especially drawn to supporting clients as they navigate the pain of disconnection and those recovering from betrayal, supporting both as they work toward restoring meaningful connection. Together, we focus on creating lasting emotional security with your partner and within yourself, where attachment and healing begin.
Approach and Values
My approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and solution-focused strategies. This allows me to meet you where you are, offering care that is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your unique needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. I bring an empathetic, curious, and nonjudgmental presence to the therapy space, grounded in authenticity and a touch of humor. My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe to show up fully as yourself without pressure to perform, mask, or be anything other than human. If you find yourself feeling stuck or caught in familiar patterns, we can explore these experiences with compassion and understanding, creating space for meaningful and lasting change.
Whenever you feel ready, I am here to walk alongside you.
